Jo Hooper has joined cashmere brand Pure Collection as product director with immediate effect, where she will consult on all aspects of buying, design, sourcing and strategy. Hooper has a wealth of experience leading womenswear for a number of businesses, including John Lewis.
At Pure Collection, Hooper replaces Stephanie Morgan, who will leave later this month.
The brand has also announced that founder Nick Falkingham will step back from the role of chief executive into a more strategic position as executive vice chairman.
He has been replaced with immediate effect by John Nicholas, who joined the business in March 2015 as chief operating officer.
Nicholas is tasked with driving growth for the business, including opening more stores, concessions and growing online sales. He was previously retail operations director for footwear group Hotter Comfort Concept.
Nicholas said: “I am delighted to be taking on the challenge of leading the business as we embark on this exciting phase of growth.”
