Portmeirion acquires Wax Lyrical

Stoke on Trent based Portmeirion, which has built a global business specialising in pottery under the Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel and Portmeirion brands, has acquired home fragrance
business Wax Lyrical operated by Lighthouse Holdings for £17.5 million. Laurence Bryan, CEO of Portmeirion confirmed that Wax Lyrical will continue to operate from the Lake District under its current managing director Joanne Barber and commented “We are proud to acquire a group delivering world-class Made in Britain home fragrances. Together with our existing strong brands we will drive our business forward.”
