A new digital era for 100 year old business

Mark-up Tools has announced the launch of its new trade only website powered by B2B Cloud. With offices in Europe, China and Pakistan, and a trading history that spans four generations, Mark-Up Tools has built a strong reputation for delivering quality products and high standards of service to the wholesale and retail trade.

Markuponline is a new eCommerce channel that will showcase a large catalogue of building, decorating, gardening, automotive tools and more, spanning 3500 products, and provide a simple and efficient self-service solution for their busy trade customers.

Mr. Sheikh, owner of Mark-Up Tools, said “We are hugely excited to see our business now online and feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive. They love the fact they can place their trade orders 24/7 and the online experience is very user-friendly. We envisage our new online channel will contribute significantly to our plans to more than double our turnover in 2016 and will enable our business to accelerate growth faster in the coming years.”

Mark-Up Tools chose B2B Cloud; an on demand B2B eCommerce platform that is purpose designed to deliver a suite of built in eCommerce functionality. Designed as a low cost, monthly subscription based solution, B2B Cloud promises to get businesses trading online in a few short weeks, and avoid the cost burden associated with server hosting, upgrades, security patching and support.

“I describe B2B Cloud as ‘Kaizen’” says Mr Sheikh, “which in Japanese means constant improvement. We are totally impressed with B2B Cloud’s huge range of functionality, geared specifically for wholesalers and importers. The cost effective all in monthly pricing of the platform will no doubt open doors to businesses who may never had the opportunity to trade online.”

B2B Cloud’s power lies in its ability to integrate with dozens of ERP, Accounts and business systems. It was created by Williams Commerce, which has worked with many well known wholesalers, importers and manufacturers since 2005, many on their 2nd and 3rd generation eCommerce sites. The Williams Commerce team saw a trend to provide a low cost, scalable B2B eCommerce solution to reduce the large capital investment needed to build a custom B2B eCommerce site and provide something which leverages functionality across many customers.
