eCommerce consultancy Salmon has announced it has acquired Netherlands-based Eperium, a digital and eCommerce consultancy. The acquisition gives Salmon, which has a presence in the UK, USA, China and Australia, access to the fast growing northern European markets. It also offers entry into the high growth market of India, where Eperium has operated since 2003. In addition, Salmon will now add Intershop Commerce Suite and Informatica Product Information Management (PIM) to its technology portfolio and delivery capability which already includes IBM, SAP Hybris and Magento.
Salmon CEO Neil Stewart said “Not only does this acquisition give Salmon a wider footprint across Northern Europe and India but it also presents an opportunity for our existing clients in these regions or with a presence in them. Our customers will now be able to access the knowledge and skills of Eperium and its team to grow their business in these markets and with potential new platforms and technologies. We are also impressed with Eperium’s heritage in online grocery, something which complements Salmon’s global expertise and leadership in this sector.”
Salmon clients include Argos, Audi UK, DFS, Habitat, Halfords, Lloyds Pharmacy, Premier Farnell, Sainsbury’s and Selfridge
