Online beauty products retailer Feelunique has snapped up Beautyst a complementary French business that claims 600,000 followers on its social networks. The operation will merge with that of Feelunique’s French online store which it launched in the winter of 2015.
“The acquisition of The Beautyst further accelerates our vision of becoming the leading player in online beauty in France,” said Feelunique CEO Joel Palix. He added “This acquisition will also strengthen our position amongst millennials, a key audience for us. Feelunique’s unrivalled portfolio of beauty products and The Beautyst’s large and dedicated online beauty community is a powerful combination.”
Meanwhile, market watchers await news on which business will secure The Body Shop from L’Oreal.
