International mail and parcel delivery business UKP Worldwide has made an investment in DES Worldwide to leverage the latter’s parcel tracking portal, PacketPort. DES Worldwide handles complex international direct entry mail, customising international mailings to the local markets targeted. More recently the business has extended its reach beyond the wholesale market, developing new delivery options for eCommerce brands and retailers.
UKP Worldwide specialises in distributing direct mail, catalogues, magazines and eCommerce goods. Lee Bucktrout owner and MD of UKP Worldwide said “My investment in DES Worldwide enables us to expand the very strong range of products we offer to businesses wishing to trade cross-border. This is a great opportunity for both businesses.”
To support UKP with its expansion Paul Taylor has been appointed to develop the company’s strategic activity in the mail and parcels market. He was previously with Spring Global Delivery Solutions and prior to that Swiss Post International.
