White Stuff grows sales in difficult year

White Stuff posted retail sales of £102.2 million for the year to April 29th representing an increase of 4.9 per cent with online sales rising by 9.9 per cent to £42.3 million. The business also grew its wholesale revenues by 4.6 per cent to £9.1 million. This added up to total revenues of £153.6 million but EBITDA fell by 29.4 per cent compared with last year following investment in 32 new stores and concessions including 18 in the UK.

As previously reported the business is now seeking a new CEO to replace Jeremy Seigal who will leave the business in December this year, or sooner if a “free of ties” replacement can be found. The business has also made a number of head office redundancies in order to be able to better manage what have been difficult trading conditions for many retailers.
