Vivobarefoot is introducing advanced video imagery to enhance online customer experience and drive acquisition. The British minimalist shoe retailer is partnering with workflow and imaging specialist SpinMe to produce a series of inspiring lifestyle videos that demonstrate the unique design and properties of its range of everyday and exercise footwear.
Vivobarefoot is using SpinMe’s virtual catwalk to create close-up action videos of models for its website and digital marketing platforms. The videos reveal granular detail of the shoe’s lightweight construction and enable viewers to thoroughly examine how the shoes look and move on a model. A Facebook post featuring one of the videos, ‘Your feet are a great piece of kit’ has received over 14,000 views.
“SpinMe’s technology enables us to demonstrate the flexibility and close to barefoot feel of our footwear in a highly accessible way and improve customers’ understanding of our products,” said Heather Robertson, eCommerce merchandiser at Vivobarefoot. “The creative assets we produce increase customer engagement and are core components of our digital marketing strategy.”
In addition, Vivobarefoot has used SpinMe’s imagery technology to produce creatives to promote its Swimrun range that launched in Spring 2017. SpinMe also recently shot Vivobarefoot’s Autumn/Winter 2017 range for its website.
“Rich media is one of the most versatile marketing tools retailers can use to drive revenue,” said David Brint CEO of SpinMe. “Vision is our most dominant sense and imagery engages us. By using the latest sophisticated techniques in video and still photography, Vivobarefoot is showcasing its products online in a very advanced way.”
Vivobarefoot intends to develop its use of SpinMe’s technology over the coming months.
