With Moya Greene stepping down from the Royal Mail board on July 19th, it has been confirmed that Rico Black will succeed her as chief executive. Black is currently chief executive at Royal Mail owned GLS, its European parcel carrying operation, which is based in Amsterdam. Black currently reports to Ms Greene who has held the CEO role at Royal Mail for eight years and who will stay on until September to achieve a smooth handover to her successor.
