The BHS.com website will take its final orders on June 27th just over two years since the Al Mana Group acquired its domain name along with the global intellectual property rights and international franchising business from the administrators of retail chain BHS. The BHS.com website had launched in September 2016 and was, according to reports, making good progress however this was not enough to prevent its owners from deciding to close it following a review. The brand will still continue as a store based business outside the UK under the BHS International name.
A spokesperson for BHS stated: “The 18 members of our BHS.com team, along with all suppliers, will be treated fairly and equitably as the website is closed down. We’d like to thank our team, suppliers and our customers for all their support over the past 20 months,”
