Angling products retailer Fishing Republic has named former Go Outdoors commercial director Daniel Quinn as its chief executive. Quinn will take up his new position on 17th October with acting CEO James Newman resuming his role as non-executive chairman.
Fishing Republic posted sales of £9.1 million for the year to 31st December 2017 along with pre-tax losses of £2.2 million. This saw former CEO Steve Goss resign.
Daniel Quinn said: “I am looking forward to joining Fishing Republic and working with the team to drive both a recovery in the Group’s financial performance and establish a long-term growth plan, aimed at positioning the Group as a multichannel leader in the sector.”
