The Entertainer has seen its annual profits to January 2018 rise by 38 per cent year-on-year on sales which rose by 7.4 per cent. Staff have shared in profit related bonuses of £1.9 million and its tithing policy contributed £1.3 million in charitable donations. The retailer which grew its online sales by 28 per cent during the year also generated additional funds for charity from initiatives including Payroll Giving and carrier bag donations from customers.
