Footwear chain Dune has posted group sale of £184.2 million for the year to January with profits 34 per cent down on the previous year at £5.3 million. Its sales had risen primarily via its website but it had been impacted by poor trading its its 232 department store concessions which included Debenhams and House of Fraser as well as increased costs due to a weaker Sterling, increases in wages and business rates. The business says its core 106 store chain and overall business remains strong.
