Wyevales has agreed to sell its Woodcote Green garden centre to Dobbies. The South London garden centre was acquired by Wyevale in 2016 and is the third largest in the UK. It joins the five other Wyevale garden centres acquired by Dobbies last month. Dobbies chief executive Graeme Jenkins said: “The acquisition of Woodcote Green represents another step in our growth plan and expands our footprint in the south of England. There is a great team at Woodcote Green who have succeeded in creating one of the UK’s best garden centres and we very much look forward to welcoming them to the Dobbies family.” Wyevale has, to date, sold 29 of its garden centres and is engaged in negotiation to sell the remainder.
