Quiz posts strong first half

Fashion business Quiz has posted a nineteen per cent increase in its revenues for the six months to 30 September. Coming in at a total of £66.7 million, stores and concessions contributed £35.1 million, online revenues grew to £20 million and international sales were up by 16 per cent to £11.6 million. EBITDA also increased by 11 per cent. The retailer opened two new stores and thirteen concessions during the period, it also launched its second collaboration with TV show TOWIE which was promoted by its first TV advertising campaign and released a new menswear range called Quizman.

Tarak Ramzan, Quiz CEO commented: “Quiz has continued to deliver good revenue growth in the first half of the financial year despite challenging external market conditions. This performance was driven by further expansion across of the brand’s distribution channels with particularly strong sales generated online through Quiz’s websites.”
