Womenswear brand Hush which sells primarily online and produces regular print catalogues grew its sales to £29.8 million for the year to 31st March, with online sales accounting for 87 per cent of revenues. The business had increased its concessions in John Lewis to 22 stores and also leveraged experiential pop-ups in Edinburgh, Leeds and London to drive brand awareness. New customer acquisition grew by 29 per cent year on year and it reported a 69 per cent increase in its gross profits which came in at £14.1 million. The business commented that trading for the six months to September 2018 was up 52 per cent year on year, indicating that its full year results for 2018/19 are likely to be impressive.
