CMO appointment at Virgin Experience Days

Virgin Experience Days has named Dan Pearce as its chief marketing officer, a new role at the experience gifts business. Pearce was most recently SVP international marketing at Ticketmaster.  The appointment is one of the first at senior level to be made by CEO Richard Hurd-Wood who joined the business last Autumn. Pearce will lead a team of 14 in-house marketers as well as take the lead on external agency relationships.

Pearce commented; “The Virgin Experience Days team has delivered some of the strongest digital campaigns in the experience gift sector and I’m excited to be joining at this stage in the company’s incredible growth story. The generational shift to valuing experiences over material possessions will continue and the business has strong growth and transformational plans in place.”

Virgin Experience Days has won a number of Direct Commerce Awards in recent years.
