Ocado has unveiled Ocado Zoom, a trial service which offers delivery of grocery orders within an hour of ordering. Initially aimed at customers within West London wanting to buy a few items rather than a weekly shop, the service will leverage the same-day delivery platform Stuart. The solution allocates delivery jobs to the nearest available independent courier via a seamless link to the Ocado website, app and order management system.
