Travis Perkins has confirmed the promotion of Frank Elkins to the role of chief operating officer for its trade merchant business which operates over 1000 UK trade counters under names including BSS, CCF, and Keyline.
Elkins who will report to CEO John Carter originally joined BSS Group in 2003 and rose through its ranks becoming commercial director in 2005 and a board director in 2009. Travis Perkins acquired BSS Group in 2010 and it promoted Elkins to the role of divisional CEO in 2013.
