Reiss posts significant sales rise

Reiss has posted a 13.2 per cent increase in its sales revenues which came in at £186.3 million for the year to 2nd February, as well as an increase in its profits of 21.3 per cent to £19.3 million. This contrasts with the problems faced at rival LK Bennett.

The retailer has enjoyed stronger online demand and has been leveraging celebrity endorsements for its premium ranges and says that its UK sales for the 10 weeks to April 3rd are up by 27.6 per cent.

CEO Christos Angelides commented: “I am conscious that the retail environment remains subdued and we will not be complacent as we continue in our work to create beautiful, timeless clothes for Reiss customers.
