Birchbox has announced that it achieved a 19 per cent rise in November sales over the same month last year, boosted by a 13 per cent uplift in response to its Black Friday promotion. The business had also focused on its social media presence.
UK managing director Sally Scott said: “We wanted to give our shoppers a really exciting, intuitive and guided experience this season. This year we have worked hard on integrating content throughout the site to speak to our casual beauty customers in a tone and at a level that makes shopping informative, guided and fun. November has been our best month ever and we look set to finish the year with double digit growth.”
