Word emanating from US media is that Wayfair is making hundreds of its worldwide staff members redundant. Whilst there is no detail as to how many heads are expected to roll in each of the countries where it operates, it is understood that UK and German offices will be affected along with some of its US team members. It is being said that the business had over-resourced in many functions and that demand has not been as strong as anticipated.
