The UK operating company of Canadian footwear retailer Aldo group has entered administration. RSM which has been appointed to handle the process moved quickly to close five stores and is now working to find a solution for the remaining eight outlets.
CEO of the Aldo Group David Bensadoun said: “It is a difficult decision to close our stores in the UK market, but it is unavoidable given the current business environment and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. We thank our associates, customers and vendors in the UK for being part of our story since 2002.”
Customers will be able to buy online from the Aldo range via Asos, Amazon, and in-person at department stores when they re-open.
