David Smith who joined Hamleys as CEO earlier this year has relinquished his role and will leave the business later this month. Smith had formerly held senior roles with Debenhams and Body Shop.
Hamleys was acquired by Reliance Industries from C.banner International.
Heavily dependent on the influx of tourists to its Regent Street flagship store, Hamleys has re-opened since lockdown to much lower footfall.
