Dunelm has announced that it will be repaying the £14.5 million it had claimed under the government’s Covid-19 furlough scheme. It has also said that it will not be making a claim for the £1000 per employee ‘sweetener’ for those brought back into work from furlough. Dunelm joins a number of businesses which have fared well despite the impact of lockdown and reduced store footfall due to having robust eCommerce operations to service customer needs.
