Send DM, the West Midlands-based direct mail, print and fulfilment company, has been acquired by leading UK mailing house, bakergoodchild.
The acquisition will see Birmingham-based bakergoodchild continue its current profile of work, while also investing in more high-volume capabilities on its current site.
And, the company said, the acquisition of Send DM, it will expand to a second location within the West Midland, “further strengthening” its direct mail capabilities.
As yet, there are no plans to rebrand Send DM, as bakergoodchild said it looks to build on the 20-year heritage and reputation of the company. The company is based at the Aldridge Fields Business Park in Walsall.
Paul Brough, managing director of bakergoodchild, said: “This ambitious acquisition is another big step forward for us. Purchasing a business which is an extension of the bakergoodchild offering will allow us to achieve superior results for our clients. The acquisition will enable us to provide a wider service offering to our existing and Send DM’s customers base.”
