Parsley Box to float

Parsley Box is understood to be considering a market listing that would value the company at £80 million.

According to a report in yesterday’s The Sunday Times, Parsley Box is working with broker FinnCap to explore its options, including a flotation on the AIM market.

The Edinburgh-based ready meal producer, which caters to the lucrative over 60s market, has enjoyed rapid success since its launch by Gordon and Adrienne MacAulay in 2017.  It’s tripled its website revenue from £7.4 million in 2019 to £24.5 million in 2020, and says it now delivers over one million meals a month.

Just last month the company secured £5.2 million in extra funding, on top of the £4.6m it raised last year, led by Mobeus Equity Partners.
