DPD boss Dwain McDonald exits

It’s been reported that DPD UK’s chief executive Dwain McDonald has left the company after an ‘internal investigation’.

No reasons or further details have been cited, although according to multiple newspapers his departure is said to be with ‘immediate effect’.

McDonald has been with the delivery firm since its Parceline days in 1988. Over twenty years, he worked his way up from sales executive to CEO. A position he’s held from March 2008, until now.

At the time of publishing, McDonald’s bio is still included on the company’s ‘Meet our CEO’ web page.

Yves Delmas, COO of DPDgroup Europe, is understood to be taking over as interim CEO.
