Online fashion business Sosandar says that its fourth quarter revenues were up by 63 per cent year on year, reaching £3.94m and that this performance will see it post annual revenues of £12.2 million. It had begun to sell its range via Next and John Lewis during the year to March 31st and had also launched online with Marks and Spencer.
The business had extended its product range to include more loungewear, denim, knitwear and outerwear and found that its returns rate had fallen from 50 per cent to 43 per cent during lockdown.
“The progress we are making reflects the scale of our opportunity and growing demand for our unique offering in the market,” commented co-CEOs Ali Hall and Julie Lavington. Adding “The recent purchasing trends that we have seen from our customers point to a period of increased activity and we believe that our extensive product range can cater to their needs.”
