Gunnebo selects Kooomo eCommerce platform

Gunnebo has selected global eCommerce platform provider Kooomo to launch its new one-stop B2B e-shop for resellers of its EverydaySafe – a compact safe which integrates into kitchen units.

Gunnebo is known for protecting banks, retail, mass transit, public and commercial buildings and high-risk sites which its offering of entrance control, safe storage, cash management and integrated security.

Its latest launch for EverydaySafe, which is in scale-up phase, is a crucial step in its dedicated go-to-market strategy in creating an intuitive site in which its resellers can place and manage their orders from anywhere, at any time, as well as provide access to extensive marketing material and support. Its resellers range from single-store owners to large scale manufacturers and distribution partners, so it was key that a new site reflect the varying needs of these different audiences.

Gunnebo chose to work with Kooomo for the build of the website and its sister company Zerogrey for the management of the platform. Gunnebo is hoping to onboard its first resellers to the site this month and will then continue working with Kooomo and Zerogrey to further develop the platform, providing more integrations and analysis, as well as increasing the content available to resellers.

Allan Pärsson, VP Innovation, Business Gunnebo Safe Storage said: “Working closely with the dedicated team from ZeroGrey and Kooomo has been an absolute delight. We are thrilled with the results and truly impressed by how quickly we went from an idea to the actual launch. Agile at its best!”

Ciaran Bollard, CEO of Kooomo added: “The EverydaySafe is an innovative, accessible and concealed safe for the kitchen which has been designed with modern lives and needs in mind. It was therefore essential that we applied the same level of precision, ingenuity and beautiful design to the reseller dedicated website in order to accurately reflect the product. Gunnebo was clear in the approach that needed to be taken and we look forward to working with the team to further improve its offering to its resellers.”
