Weeks was formerly CEO of Maginus and were responsible for significant top and bottom-line growth before taking the business through a sale to Black Dragon Capital. It then became Naveo Commerce, with weeks taking on the role of COO. Before joining Maginus, Weeks held senior management positions with K3 Business Technology group and Visibility Corporation.

Ciptex Board members Jolyon Parsons and Steve Walker will move to new roles to develop specific arms of the business. Walker will step away from his Managing Director role to become Chief Revenue Officer, focusing on driving business development and handing over business management to Weeks.

“Simon has the experience and the vision we need to drive the next phase of Ciptex’s growth,” said Andrew Marchant, chairman of Ciptex. “From our beginnings in the cloud communications sector, Ciptex has become a leading provider of solutions for organisations with sophisticated contact centre requirements. Our challenge now is to build on the strong foundations we have today, to achieve dominance in what is an aggressive and fast-growing market.”
