As restrictions lift and the UK government says it’s no longer necessary to instruct people to work from home, new research commissioned by Blueair and conducted by Novus lifts the lid on current sentiment.
The survey found that 35 per cent of Brits are worried about becoming infected in the workplace and a further 77 per cent think that the risk of getting infected by bacteria and viruses is greatest on public transport. With restrictions lifting and the commute to work set to become a normality once again, it seems that concerns around health are higher than ever before.
Kevin Luo of Blueair comments, “These insights suggest that the pandemic has led to more concerns around people’s health than ever before. As companies return to the office after over a year of working from home, we can see that concerns remain around infection in public spaces, such as in the workplace itself and even on the commute to the office. Clean air has an abundance of health benefits, including increased productivity, so installing an air purifier in the workplace can go a long way in terms of giving employees peace of mind and improving overall health.”
