Realex payments launches new core opencart payment solution

Realex Payments, one of Europe’s
fastest growing payment solution providers, has announced a new partnership with OpenCart. The deal sees Realex
Payments and OpenCart, a leading open-source e-commerce software platform that
powers hundreds of thousands of stores, launch a one-stop solution for merchant
online payment processing.

Realex Payments, along with UK
development agency Welford Media and OpenCart, will incorporate a new core
OpenCart platform with fully integrated order management functionality, fraud
tools and dynamic currency conversion.

Merchants can take payments via Realex Payments’ fully responsive hosted
payment page or onsite Application Program Interface (API) payment form built
into OpenCart’s one-page checkout. Both ensure a fast and seamless user
experience for customers. Transactions are processed by Realex Payments, in
full PCI compliance.Both the Hosted Payment
Page and API modules support a number of fraud management features.
Transactions can be channelled through 3DSecure for extra fraud protection.
Before dispatching, merchants can check the security results of the
transaction, 3DSecure, Card Verification Number checking (CVN), Address
Verification Service (AVS) and Realex Payments’ unique fraud scoring to help
prevent chargebacks and fraudulent transactions
