Ted Baker has reduced its losses due to a significant uplift in sales. It has been engaged in a transformation process and says that the early results are promising and are borne out in its recent performance. In its interim results group revenue for the 28 weeks to August 14th was up by 16.6 per cent to £199.3m with losses down by 70.7 per cent to £25.3 million. Its 377 stores had attracted strong numbers of shoppers who were buying for office and occasion wear since re-opening. CEO Rachel Osborne said: “I remain confident that our turnaround of this great global lifestyle brand is on course and that Ted Baker will emerge as a stronger business.”
