Amazon has appointed Neil Lindsay as senior vice president of its healthcare division which incorporates online pharmacy and telehealth services.
Neil LindsayThe position reports to CEO Andy Jassy and is intended to support the online giant’s accelerated penetration of the wider healthcare market. This includes Amazon Pharmacy which is based on acquired business PillPack, Amazon Care, a telehealth health diagnostics service, and new fitness tracking services delivered via Alexa.
US pundits suggest that Amazon could generate a potential US $72 billion revenue stream from these focused services.
