Homebase will be trialling concessions in three Tesco Extra stores, starting this month. The DIY retailer will be offering an edit of its range to provide customers with products to refresh, update and transform their homes and gardens. The concession will also create awareness of its higher value offerings like kitchen and bathroom replacements and larger home improvements, as well as provide a click & collect point for customers.
Damian McGloughlin, CEO Homebase said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Tesco, bringing our home and garden products and expertise to even more local communities. We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for customers to shop with us and teaming up with Tesco means we’re able to do just that.”
The first concession opens in Borehamwood, Herts on 19 March and will be followed by April openings in Walkden and Woolwich.
