The Cotswold Company has taken a ten year lease of a new, speculatively built 139,ooo sq.ft. distribution centre at Fradley Park, Lichfield. The new facility will support growth of the business which is expanding its product range, stock levels and its distribution team. It plans to be fully functioning in the new premises by July, expects to create 50 new jobs, and will be a neighbour to Asos, DHL and Screwfix, among others.
Alan Joseph, operations director at The Cotswold Company said: “We are delighted to be opening a new distribution centre to help meet the demand for The Cotswold Comoany’s products. Though we have always stayed focused on making promises (to customers) we can keep, we have not been immune to the supply chain issues many retailers have faced in the last two years. By expanding our inventory levels we can ensure we deliver for our customers as quickly as possible.”
