CMO posts strong half

CMO Group, the Devon headquartered online building materials supplier has posted sales of £41.9m for the six months to 30 June ’22, up from £38.2m for the same period last year. Gross profit had also increased from £7.4m to £8.5m with pre-tax profits falling from £550,000 to £358,000.

CEO Dean Murray commented: “We are pleased that despite a more challenging marketplace CMO continues to see positive customer demand driving further sales growth which has accelerated since July and the delivery of the strategic objectives set out at the time of the IPO.

“The board remains mindful of the potential for broader macro-economic impact and will act swiftly to mitigate challenges and is focused on maintaining margins and generating cash.”
