Womenswear business Sosandar has secured a wholesale agreement with Sainsbury’s which will initially see a selected range of its womenswear offered online by the supermarket chain. Later in the year, the range will also be sold in a number of Sainsbury’s stores within its clothing department.
Sosandar has five other online partnerships but this will be the first time it will be seen in stores.
Ali Hall and Julie Lavington, co-CEOs of Sosandar said: “This new relationship comes off the back of a record period of trading with our existing third parties and is testament to the strength of our brand and product range as it continues to resonate with customers.
“To be one of Sainsbury’s key fashion partners is an incredibly proud moment for us. In line with our objective to provide our large but underserved demographic with more opportunities to purchase our unique and diverse products, this elevates our strategy from pureplay to an omnichannel brand.”
