Oliver Bonas chooses NetSuite

Independent British retailer Oliver Bonas, has selected Oracle NetSuite to help deliver its unique fashion and homeware to more UK customers. With NetSuite, Oliver Bonas will take advantage of an integrated business system to unify financial management, planning, merchandising, and supply chain processes, and deliver a better omnichannel experience to its customers.

Founded in Fulham in 1993, Oliver Bonas is an independent British lifestyle store that designs its own fashion and homewares. It has since grown to become a household name with nearly 80 stores across the UK and Ireland, as well as a sizeable online presence. To keep pace with its increasingly complex processes, Oliver Bonas needed to update its disconnected operational processes as they were creating data siloes and becoming a burden for buying, merchandising, and finance teams. To address these challenges and increase efficiencies by consolidating multiple systems, Oliver Bonas selected NetSuite to better manage the buying process, streamline financial operations, and deliver an improved cross-channel customer experience.

“A key part of the success of Oliver Bonas is delivering distinctive British lifestyle designs, and it is vital that our systems contribute to the mission,” said Thomas Brooke, head of IT, Oliver Bonas. “As we have expanded our operations, we found a need to streamline our processes and move away from manual tasks to get the insights our teams require in order to continue our success. NetSuite will help us reduce these time-consuming activities by centralising data from many parts of our business and helping us increase automation across finance, buying, merchandising, warehouse, supply chain, and customer service. This will make a huge difference and will enhance the way we operate and improve our decision making.”

Working with NetSuite Customer Success, alongside partners including Patchworks and Promethean Analytics, Oliver Bonas plans to consolidate multiple disconnected systems on a single cloud ERP system. With NetSuite as its command centre, Oliver Bonas will save time and resources by automating previously manual processes and enhancing merchandise planning, financial reporting, and analysis. In addition, Oliver Bonas will use NetSuite to help improve stock management, execute an omnichannel strategy, and elevate the experience it delivers to its customers by better integrating ERP with its eCommerce store. NetSuite will also form the central point for all store, online, and marketplace data, and combine that with warehouse data to facilitate order management and give Oliver Bonas a more comprehensive view across its entire operations.

“Despite tough competition on UK high streets and online, Oliver Bonas continues to expand and thrive as a go-to destination for homeware and fashion,” said Nicky Tozer, SVP, EMEA, Oracle NetSuite. “With NetSuite, Oliver Bonas plans to be more efficient, productive, and data-led, which will enable its teams to focus on strategy, design, and staying ahead of ever-evolving customer expectations.”
