Devon headquartered Troy which distributes products for industrial and engineering businesses has secured a £15.5m investment from BGF. £300m turnover Troy operates as an independent buying group with 400 merchants as members and has investment in 16 of them.
Simon King, a former chief executive of Wickes, has been appointed to its board as non-executive chair and will work with the wider team to capitalise on significant market opportunities.
