Hobbycraft enhances shopping experience with launch of new App

Hobbycraft has announced the launch of a new mobile application, providing customers with easy access to thousands of product and project offerings as well as exclusive discounts and craft loyalty rewards through the Hobbycraft Club.

The launch will put Hobbycraft in the pocket of customers across the UK and help make crafting more accessible than ever by simplifying the shopping experience, with over 20,000 craft tools, accessories, and projects available through the simple click of a button.  This includes access to all the popular products and projects relevant to their crafting expertise, whether they are a creative crocheter, brilliant baker or aspiring artist – with categories that cater to art, knitting, sewing, papercraft, wedding and party, baking, jewellery making, home storage and more.

Customers who download the app will also be provided with the chance to sign up to the Hobbycraft Club, granting them access to a selection of exclusive discounts and rewards, including 15 per cent off their first purchase, a  free £5 gift voucher on their birthday plus loyalty vouchers and discounts. (Existing Club members will be able to sign to their account via the app, but will not receive the 15 per cent introductory offer).

By signing up to the Hobbycraft Club, customers will be provided with a digital Club Card through the app, which can be used in-store and online to build up loyalty points for additional discounts and vouchers. Opting into push notifications, gives app users priority to receive information on any new product launches, project arrivals on the Ideas Hub, and limited time discount codes.

Customers will be able to choose between home delivery or click & collect when completing any app purchase. Hobbycraft offers free delivery for any orders over £25, whilst click & collect is available for orders over £10 from every store nationwide. App users can personalise their profile page and add in their local store, helping identify products which are in stock when browsing the range.

Katherine Paterson, customer director at Hobbycraft, comments “There has been a huge increase in demand for arts & crafts over the last few years, with people using the pastime for mental wellbeing, entrepreneurial passion, social meetups and more. Our passion for arts and crafts is at the centre of everything we do, and we want to continue building a crafting community that is accessible and affordable to all.

Through the launch of the new app, we aim to make crafting more convenient to both new and existing customers with simplified access to our huge product range, personalised project advice and inspiration, and even more savings and discounts available through the Club.”
