Tesco has named Matthew Barnes as its new UK chief executive, replacing Jason Tarry who will leave in March 2024.
Matthew BarnesBarnes has held the role of UK & Ireland CEO for Aldi from which he was promoted to the Aldi Sud executive board.
Tarry commented: “Little could I have imagined 33 years ago, the journey I would go on with Tesco. My life in Tesco has been a wonderful experience.”
