Frasers drops bid for Mulberry

Frasers Group has abandoned its plans to take over Mulberry. It attributes the decision to Mulberry’s rejection of its revised bid, complaining about the absence of ‘proper engagement from the Mulberry board’.

Frasers is now applying pressure on Mulberry, in which it holds a 37 per cent stake, to agree to it taking a place on the board.
