Clodagh Moriarty has been appointed as CEO of Dunelm effective from 1 October 2025. She will succeed Nick Wilkinson, who announced his decision to retire from Dunelm and full-time executive life in February, following seven years in the role.
Moriarty joins Dunelm from J Sainsbury Plc, where she is currently Chief Retail and Technology Officer.
Virgin Experience Days, Virgin Experience Gifts and Virgin Incentives have announced that Danni Rush has been appointed as CEO.
Danni was most recently chief operations officer and has also held the post of chief customer officer for the brand group.

Beth Lowry will join HelloStudio, The Very Group‘s in-house creative agency, as head of creative direction. She brings 20 years of experience in the industry, both in the UK and the USA.
Royal Mail and International Distribution Services (IDS) will shortly have a new chairman in Daniel Kretinsky following EP Group’s acquisition and the departure of IDS from the London Stock Exchange on June 2nd. The transaction had met with considerable disquiet, taking 500-year-old Royal Mail into foreign hands for the first time. Several assurances were secured with the UK government receiving a £1 golden share in Royal Mail, which secures Royal Mail’s HQ and tax residency in the UK.
Topps Tiles has announced that Alex Jensen, former chief executive of National Express, is to succeed Rob Parker as its chief executive. Jensen joins the retailer as chief executive designate in mid-September, with Parker remaining in post for several months to ensure a seamless transition. The business also parts with its CFO Stephen Hobson, with Mike Killick joining in an interim capacity whilst a search for a permanent replacement gets underway.
Nickyl Raithatha will leave the CEO role at Moonpig after seven years, remaining in his position for up to 12 months. Moonpig chair Kate Swann said: “Nickyl leaves the group in a strong position, with the Group’s FY25 results showcasing another year of strong earnings growth and high free cash flow. He has built a strong execution continuity during the transition. We are well prepared from a succession perspective and will continue to work closely with Nickyl as we look to appoint his successor.”
DX has appointed Ian Truesdale as chief executive, effective 1st July ’25. He joins from Unipart to succeed Paul Ibbetson, who led the sale of the DX business to H.I.G. in January 2024. DX is investing £12m in a new hub in Derbyshire and is acquiring Express Freight.
