Maternity wear specialist Seraphine has been put into administration, with Interpath Advisory appointed to handle the process. The business, which sold online as well as trading from a single London store, had 95 employees, most of whom have been made redundant. The business, like many other retailers, had been trying to secure new investment, having experienced falling demand in the current tough trading climate.
A buyer is being sought for the IP, with the most obvious parties – Frasers and Next – expected to show interest.
