Poundland owner Gordon Brothers has bought Radley, best known for its handbags, out of administration via a pre-pack deal, which will see the retailer’s 21 stores in the UK close with the loss of 42 jobs.
Like many retailers, Radley has been impacted by poor consumer confidence both in the UK and in the US, as well as rising operating costs leading to widening losses.
