Electric Word plc has acquired Smallwood Publishing for
£257,000. Smallwood is a catalogue business supplying
educational resources to schools and professionals working with
children and young people. The acquired business will join
Electric Word’s Incentive Plus subsidiary in Milton Keynes and is
expected to relocate from its existing base in Dover later this
year. Electric Word will benefit from the exclusive UK
distribution rights that Smallwood holds to a number of
established overseas resources, as well as its customer database
of professionals working in child and family therapy and health.
Smallwood will benefit from the marketing and fulfilment
capabilities of Incentive Plus and the Electric Word group.
