Having acquired toys retailer/cataloguer Early Learning Centre
(ELC) in April 2007, Mothercare is preparing a cobranded email
marketing campaign targeting parents of babies and toddlers.
“Although Mothercare and ELC have existing successful email
programmes,” said Mothercare direct marketing manager Alexa
Proctor in a statement, “we now need to build on that
success to make email work harder for the business.” The
Mothercare brand specialises in maternity and nursery products.
Mothercare appointed digital communications agency Inbox, part of
the Digital Marketing Group, as its eCRM partner to develop the
enewsletter programme.
