Management buyout for Pandora Books

Pandora Books, a direct marketer of books for primary and
secondary schools, has been purchased from founders Nick and Mike
Ison in a management buyout led by managing director Martin
Green, with investment from Key Capital Partners (KCP). The KCP
funding will be used to accelerate growth through Pandora’s
catalogue and direct selling operations as well as to build a new
specialist website.

Amazon.co.uk’s former children’s books editor Susan Harrison has
been appointed marketing manager and will be joined by new sales
and marketing and finance directors to replace the retiring
founders. Other appointments include Trevor Goul-Wheeker as
nonexecutive chairman and KCP partner Owen Trotter as
nonexecutive director.
